market this morning. futures trading show all three indexes in the positive. stocks end the day down yesterday. falling on weaker earnings reports and worries about the european economy. on wall street the dow lost 42-points. after being down as much as 134 at one point. the nasdaq fell three. the s-and-p-500 lost two. a negative side effect of the technology in our lives. smart- phones and tablets are being blamed for a new phenomenon. dubbed "smart- phone face". facial skin sagging, or drooping, more quickly than nature intended. researchers say. it is caused by people spending hours with their heads. bent down looking at their gadgets. kron 4's tech reporter gabe slate shares the warning. doctors want all gadget

>> san francisco mayor ed lee and democratic state leaders have introduced a set of bills aimed at gun control. the bills propose closing loopholes in existing gun laws. also, banning the distribution of firearms and ammunition from dangerous people, and strengthening education about safe gun ownership. another bill would require guns to be properly locked present. the move follows president obama's call on congress to pass measures to reduce gun violence including conducting universal background checks. senators seek deal on gun- a small, bipartisan group of senators is quietly trying to reach a compromise on expanding the requirement for background checks to purchases. a deal could give political momentum to one of the key elements of president barack obama's the private talks involve liberal sen. chuck schumer of new york, who is the no. 3 senate democratic leader, and west virginia sen. joe manchin, a national rifle association member and one of the senate's more moderate democrats. on the republican side, participants are sen. tom coburn of oklahoma, another more conservative lawmakers in congress, and moderate sen. mark kirk of illinois. the nra says expanding background checks would do

decent teenager killed there. a vigil will be held tonight for 13-year-old genelle conway- allan. the teen who was found dead in a fairfield park last week. police in fairfield are working with authorities. to investigate whether the case of the suisun city teen murdered there. could be linked to another murder case from last year. the body of jessica funk haslam was discovered in a park in rosemont nearly a year ago. fifty miles away from the fairfield park. where genelle conway- allan's body was found last week. now. investigators with the sacramento county sheriff department have asked fairfield police to share information, in case there is a connection between the two crimes. the vigil is tonight at 6:30 at witt park in fairfield. >> three men are wanted in connection with an armed home invasion robbery in pleasant hill.

this is surveillance video from a neigbhor. the two victims say the suspects parked their white chevy suburban or trailblazer in front on a driveway on the 16-hundred block of wendy drive at around 11-30 yesterday morning. then all three men jumped out and hopped this fence and broke into the garage from the backyard. one of the victims went to his car to grab something when he was pistol whipped in the head. all three suspects had guns. the suspects took 30- thousand dollars worth of stuff. a laptop, clothes, jewelry and money. a neighbor across the street says hearing about the home invasion robbery frightened her. >> nobody is completely safe so you have to keep your eyes and ears open. >> they are described as african americans wearing ski masks. >> three men are wanted in connection with an armedkron

four's philippe djegal explains the victim's terrifying encounter with the suspects. the two victims were too shaken up to speak with us on camera. but off camera, they say the chevy suburban or trailblazer in front on this block of wendy drive at around 11-30 in the morning. the victims released a vagueall of them described as twenty and thirty years of age. all of them were wearing dark masks. call the pleasant hill to police. dark masks. the most recent assault took place here.you can see there here. and college of san francisco's mission campus is located at this intersection. there's also an apartment complex. the area is dark and there were a lot of people walking around. the female victim was assaulted at 105 a-m. so there probably a lot of the first assault happened morning. residents tell me this area needs more lights. including this woman. she says the female victim was beaten right outside her apartment. she says she called the city and demanded that they prune this tree, bacause it blocks a streetin san francisco reggiesan jose police have released this photograph of 32-year-old anthony sanchez. as they continue their search for him. he was in custody
